A little about me

My uncommon background informs the code I write. I’ve been formally trained in both crafts of communicating ideas and making software.

I graduated in 2013 magna cum laude from the Missouri School of Journalism. But after attending several conferences focused on harnessing the power of technology to gain information from data, I became increasingly interested coding. In 2016, I earned certificate in full-stack software engineering from Prime Digital Academy.

I advocate for DevOps principles because of their potential to bring more empathy into software development. For developers, this looks like empathy toward their coworkers in operations, by making sure code deployed is trustworthy. But it also involves empathy toward self, by creating deployment practices that prevent stressful situations later on.

I'm a Minnesota native. In late 2018, I voluntarily quit my job to follow my dream of moving back to Buenos Aires, Argentina. 🇦🇷

When not exploring code, I'm likely planning a trip somewhere new, listening to a podcast or spending some quality time with a book.
